In order to meet your campus dining needs,
Commuter Meal Plans have been designed for the 2009-2010 academic
year. With
rising cost, off campus students are purchasing Commuter Meal
Plans, also known as Block Meal Plans.

Purchasing a Meal Plan
Each year we see an increase in meal plan
purchases. We offer a variety of meal plans designed to meet your
campus dining needs. The most popular meal plans are the
14, 16+ 100 Meal Plan Dollars and the 21
meal plan. Choose your meal plan under
Optional Fees when in VIP.

Changing a meal plan
Meal Plan downgrades or cancellations will not be processed if
received after
5:00 PM on
January
15th, 2010.
In order for changes to be made after the deadline, approval must be
granted by Dining Services.
Fee Payment Information
Deposits
made to Carolina Cash will NOT be available for expenditure until 10
days prior to the first day of classes if ANY portion of the tuition
bill is paid for with Financial Aid. Deposits made to Carolina Cash
will be made available once the payment is posted if the ENTIRE bill
is paid with either cash, check or charge. To make deposits to
Carolina Cash for immediate expenditure, please go to the
CarolinaCard Options under the Financial menu in VIP.
Effective June 2010, the Red Flag
Rule, a new federal regulation requires that a government issued id
be presented to get a new university id or a replacement id.
School of Medicine Bookstore now accepts
Carolina Cash for payments. This includes all faculty, staff and
students.

Damage Card Fee Effective
July 1, 2008
Damaged Cards:
Damaged cards can be replaced at the CarolinaCard office during
regular business hours. A card is considered damaged when any of
the following may apply: the card is broken, bent, holes have been
punched in it, it has been misused (for example, torn, chewed, etc
), or warped from the heat (dashboard, clothes dryer). There is no
fee to reprint cards that need to be replaced due to normal wear
and tear and/or where the magnetic strip no longer works due to
card quality. Damage will be accessed when the card is presented for
replacement and it will be up to the discretion of the CarolinaCard
office and its management if a fee is assessed. Damaged cards will
be replaced for $25.00. Once a new card is made, previous cards
cannot be re-activated nor will the $25.00 fee be refunded

Staff and Students can purchase software thru VIP
Faculty, staff and students can now purchase software thru
VIP. Login to VIP and choose the
Technology Tab. You will see the link for
Software Distribution.
